Local Tours with a Personal Touch
Since 2016, Agostino Sarnari and Sara Garavaglia have combined more than 40 years of experience in tours across Honduras, Central America and Europe to offer the visitors of Roatan first-class, personal service.
From our base in West End we organize tours, activities and excursions all over the island: dolphin encounters at Anthony’s Key, snorkeling on the reef, the glass bottom boat, parasailing over West Bay and boat tours to the starfish sanctuary and the mangroves.
Families, couples, groups and cruise passengers docking at Coxen Hole or Mahogany Bay travel with our trusted local guides, with times planned to enjoy Roatan without stress.
Roatan Travel Guide
Things to Do in Roatan
Roatan, the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras, sits on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest barrier reef in the world. That is why the best things to do in Roatan happen in the sea: snorkeling on the reef, meeting the dolphins of Anthony’s Key, watching corals and tropical fish from the glass bottom boat or flying over the turquoise water with parasailing. On land, the island offers white sand beaches like West Bay, the lively village of West End, tropical forest, a relaxed Caribbean lifestyle and plenty of restaurants and beach bars for every style and budget, from fresh seafood by the water to sunset cocktails.
Roatan is a year-round destination: the drier and sunnier months usually go from February to August, while from October to January there are more rain showers and windy days, which is why sea activities always depend on the weather. If you arrive on a cruise ship at Coxen Hole or Mahogany Bay, we plan shore excursions with times calculated to bring you back on board. If you are staying in a hotel or a vacation rental, we organize private and small group tours with local guides, at your pace.
Choose your activity in our Roatan tours, read our travel guide or write to us with your date: we will check availability and help you plan the perfect day on the island.
